I WANT SNOW, I love it but only get little bits each year. I want loads and loads so the kids are off school and I can go out playing snowballs again like last year. GREAT FUN

Lachlanandmarcus- You must be near my dad, he is near Kincraig and has loads, but he was skiing on the summer solstice and had snow in September so he isnt bothered at all!!

Ahhh I know where you mean, tho he is over t'other side of the moontins, so is hours away by road as thats mountains for you, you have to go all the way round them!

We are up from Ballater/Braemar (tho scandalously havent received royal wedding invite yet, mind you with the snow the postie prob has it :-))))) <practices curtsey and saying Maam>

Last winter my neighbours skiied up on XC skis after a week with bread and milk....

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,
just like the ones I used to know....

I'm extremely jealous of all your snow fun, we are just building up to the first scorcher of the year -> 36oC in the shade, when the breeze is blowing!

Poster of the photo - are you in Scotland? Sorry my Eng geography is non-existant once you leave Linconshire :)

None in Leicestershire... yet... Bout to go out and do late check on the horses... So could be proved wrong!

Please, please, please hold off till Sunday! Got to drive down to take mom to the airport (lucky fish!) and then driving down to London again for a very very sad farewell concert. :(

Really dont want to have to drive the 4x4 down to London twice...

We had a little sprinkle this morning here (west Kent) very early, but it had gone by 6.30. I do think it's on the way - maybe tomorrow night, they say. Off to see a potential horse tomorrow afternoon, so hope it's nice then.

I'm in Newcastle and we had snow yesterday and today it's worse! It is very pretty though as it's proper snow which is stuck. We have about 6 inches of it and it's still falling.

The battery in my car conked out on the way to my boyfriends last night though!! So the AA are coming soon and will hopefully sort it. Had to pay someone at the yard to sort my three out!

Thankfully, we just have cold and sunshine....we are forecast some but fingers crossed it wont come to much.Last year it took us 4 days to dig ourselves out of the drive.Put me off snow for life!
