lace 4.jpgSo ... after much thought and searching, I have put a deposit down on a foal to come here in the autumn once weaned. Had the foal vetted but I have bought unseen - something I thought I would never do. Feels good to know my foal will have someone to play with in the not too distant future and next year they will go out to shows together.

She's a fair bit smaller than my foal but hoping that that will be OK. In time, if she needs less grass than mine, she can go out some of the time with my gelding who is trying his best to turn himself into a fatty.

Praise indeed for a welshie 😂 She's absolutely gorgeous and I look forward to more photos when she arrives.
I don't really know very much about Section Bs except that my lovely riding horse (my mare's previous foal, now 6) is part Section B (Kirby Cane Bugler). Perhaps wrongly, I think it's this bit of his breeding that gives him his quirky character - I adore him, despite his strong opinions about equine rights!

Oooooh I like her... she's super pretty!

As a cheeky aside, if anyone wants an absolute darling, super friendly and inquisitive Connie x Warmblood filly to make 16.1hh give me a shout, it will stop me being tempted everytime I go to the yard!

Just made the mistake of looking at Section B's on Horsequest. Could easily spend £15k. Good thing I'm far too old to buy any more.
I hope that this foal will be sellable. Not intending to sell for many a year, but you never know what life has in store. I thought if I bought something nice, it would have a better hope of a good home if anything happened to me.

My neighbour breeds section b's and they are all born various shades of beige, parents colours are grey, chestnut, cremello, liver chestnut I love it when the foal coats start to shed.
And four matching socks too 😍
