Does anyone have any advice on how to cope and hopefully not come a cropper on a sh who can be strong when jumping (I expect more so with a course). I don`t have much experience of shows as this is my first share and I never did pony club (which I regret).

I have rescue remedy at the ready. Its a charity clear round showjumping. I couldn`t be bothered plaiting. For myself I`m hoping I can get away with semi-smart casual (read as clean). I`ll bring my leather gaitors and beige jods with me.

Any tips on seeing a line?, I have a bit of a habit with looking at the ground when finding a line.

I`m not the competitive type!.

Thanks all, I`ll let you know how I get on.

Best of luck, what I can say is make the most use that you can of corners, as they will balance the horse up

Looking forward to your report, you'll be fine!

Like Castlemouse said make good use of your corners and also try to look up to where your going so you can find a good line to your next fence. If you havn't much experience with shows then look on this as an experience and just go to enjoy yourself and have a bit of fun! Good luck!!

Thanks you two, I`ll have a mini-freaker tomorrow at the yard for the hell of it. Working Saturday unfortunatley.

Well, it didn`t happen. Woke up at about six with a ferocious ear ache which has spread to horrible head cold. Annoyed with myself but there will be other days.
