Well I have been humming and hawing about getting a harness for Ruby. She pulls at the start of a walk and I have never been able to stop her, once settled she will walk nicely. Mine are off lead a lot but need to be able to come out of the house on the lead and through our gate onto the common to check no one else is on "their" path. They turn all territorial and make a godawful noise and look a bit fierce so can't be allowed to run through immediately. Also they do the odd pavement/road walk in extremely bad weather and again she pulls at the start. It's my fault but I have accepted it as she is a small dog 
and has such a lovely face
. She walks on a slack lead after about 5 minutes. Moti walks beautifully on a lead so I don't worry about him but I have wondered if it does Ruby harm..... So I have bought a harness.
She will wear a collar with her tag but the harness I shall use for the start of walks.

ETS I know I am too lazy to train her better but she is a good girl otherwise
