Egg bar shoes and studs?

Really not sure as Ive had conflicting advice but was wondering what everyones opinion on putting studs on egg bar shoes? Dont normally, just stick to the hinds but the ground is so slippery now as it hasnt stopped raining for days, so I was thinking that perhaps I should ask farrier to put stud holes in the fronts now?

My mare has to have studs in hers (events to BE Novice) She has two in each foot, I keep them as small as ground allows and I do find that they tend to make the shoes move a bit, ie after 2 xc events I tend need a farrier to tighten the clenches up.

Thanks Marymoo - I'll just be doing dressage so will keep the studs as neat as poss.
