My mare had a little bit of thrush under the bar of her eggbar when last shod.

Does anyone have any recommendations for something I could either apply/spray/use on this area to keep her feet nice and healthy?

Copper sulphate solution. You can buy the crystals really cheap at any farming supplies store. Make them into a paste with some water and paint onto the soles of the feet and into the frog clefts. It works. Try not to get it on the shoes because it oxidises them!

I clean out the cleft with a brush then stuff cotton wool soaked in purple spray in the gap - changed every other day. Mines on box rest tho so don't know how effective it is when they are active. Otherwise I've found keratex frog disinfectant to work wonders x

mine has eggbars with wedges - you just cant get under there to get the crap out - my farrier recomended picking up foot and spraying purple spray bet shoe and frog (by the heels)
