Hi everyone,

A few people quite local to me organised a cracking show last weekend in aid of EGS and Laminitis Trust to raise funds and awareness of the horrible diseases and it was a vert successful day in more ways than one. Loads of people got involed from vets giving talks, to horse/human physios giving demonstrations and alot of money was raised for the charities.

Anyway, Saturday was the first time I had towed solo since passing my trailer test at the end of July so was quite excited. Obviously with Breagha being mostly white she gets bathed the day before rugged up and put out and damage control is done in the morning. Thankfully it was just her legs that needed sorted, so did them then hooked up and loaded up and away we went.

The show was really busy with everyone out supporting the charity show so it was a great atmosphere. Tied Breagha to the back of the box and went to get numbers and check what time the class would be on. Some of the in hand classes were huge with up to 20 in them.

So, our first class was the youngstock class and she behaved so well and trotted out nicely when asked (last year she felt as you needed to drag her but our practice as paid off). So we placed 2nd and also got best turned out - clever pony.

Then we stayed in the ring for our next class which was the coloured class and it was a big class, wasnt expecting much but again she trotted out beautifully. We again got pulled in 2nd and again best turned out. Pays to out some elbow greese into getting her ready :D

So onto the championship, she was as cool and a cucumber. We all walked round until the judge was ready and then we had to line up in any order for her to pick her champion and reserve. So, champion was pulled forward and then Breagha was pulled out as reserve - YAY! Clever horse! Delighted with her and how well she behaves every time we are out.

Here are a couple of pictures.
