Eh? Can anyone explain this?

This looks like it has been photoshopped!! I have no idea how you would encourage a horse to jump this the way it is.....

Looks like a dealer "trick" ... are the horses in the background awaiting their turn? *lol*
More seriously, not hard to teach a horse to jump like that, though I find it concerning that a horse known not to pass a vetting for a phsyical issue would be made to jump like that! ... Or maybe it's just messed in the brain and jumps every bounce like that ...

Hmm if the injury doesnt affect it in any way then therefore why would it fail a vetting!!! ... Weird jump but iv seen something like it on Team Fredericks on H&C but they were using a bunch of poles infront of a jump to create a ditch like jump

Exactly what i though!

It is possible! My big horse Rocky once jumped a 3ft 9 spread and the placing pole that was 12ft in front of it all in one jump!! Seriously, I was on him at the time it was bloody scary lol!!
Certainly wouldn't encourage a horse to do it tho...

The only horse I have heard of doing that is one of Andrew Mclean's horses during the cross country phase - cant remember what course in Australia, maybe Gawler? Doesnt seem right as surely the horse would want to land between that bounce!

It happens. My old pony did that once at a hunter trial and jumped a bounce as one jump. It was up a hill and I was thinking impulsion and created a bit more energy than I intended.

I'm not sure if they have photoshopped it, if you look at the ground the shadow looks pretty realistic...and the hobbit looks as though he is taking a photo or video from another angle. My hunter mare used to do this and my 14.2 cob has occasionally done the same with bounces so my jury is out on this one! Pretty odd though!

It's all very odd! There is slight blurring/merging in front of the orange fillers that show something has been done to the photo, yet the shadow under the horse would suggest nothing has been altered between the horse and the fence. Also, the hobbit in the background appears to be taking a picture from the other angle. Something isn't quite right about the whole thing, I am especially suspcious of the horses tied up in the background and their claim to be a private advertiser, lol.

Even if it were real, surely it'd make purcasers think twice because as others have said, what happens if you are approaching a bounce.

Personally if it IS real, from the position of the horse I'd say its not going to make it over the second jump without decimating it. Bet a picture taken a second later wouldn't look half as pretty!

My friends horse did this once. Unfortunately she was going into a bounce and wasn't prepared for him to take both large fences in one, ended up falling off with concussion! It does look very suspicious...and if it is real I would be worried about what would happen if I was going into a bounce!!!!

Very weird, we have taught a couple to jump wide, but not with fillers it was with multi blocks, and was barely 2'3 high the idea to teach water jumps etc. however not sure I would use that as an ad, and I wouldn't advise any clients to go near it! the ponies tied at back- very strange. poor buggers- mine are sooooo spoilt!!

Look at the other horse for sale, ex HOYs, jumps 1.30 no mention of lameness so would expect it to pass vet, £650 seems far to cheap. Either desperate to sell and an amazing bargain or dodgy.
