Loanee has never yet managed to compete a Be event for some reason something always goes wrong. So when the day started with an early morning call from loanee I feard the worse. Her Mum had spent the night being sick and was in no condition to drive the lorry so rather than meeting her at Eland I had to take her in my lorry.
So having passed the first hurdle of getting to an event it was on to the dressage. Ed warmed up really well was very relaxed. Loanee rode very well and it was a lovely test and she scored an amazing 21.9
On to show jumping. They jumped the first part of the course really well but then saw a short stride into the double which led to Ed getting a little long over the last part of the course so had a couple down.
So quick change of boots and onto the XC. Eland is an amazing viewing course so managed to see most of the round which looked pretty foot perfect to me. Finished with a clear and 0.8 time faults. Was pleased to see that despite two down showjumping she finished 5th.
