Elastic inserts on narrow boots?

I've just ordered some (much cheaper!) dubarry-type boots from Derby House ( http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/prodshow.asp?id=2423&cat=3&scats=73,46# )
I didn't really think about it before, but i have annoyingly wide calves, and they're probably going to be quite a narrow fit...!
Does anyone know anything about getting elastic inserts put in? Would it work with this type of boot?

Why not try your local saddle.
Might not be a cheap option, but at least you know they will be very well fitted.
