Elasticated brestplates ideas?

Basically am looking for a nice breastplate for pickle, at olympia bought a stunning jefferies compititon one but unfortunetly it is just slightly too small so I am sending it back. I want something simular at around £90-£115 that comes in extra full. I loved the devoucoux and it looked like it may fit but the price is a little too steep for me and I resented the way I was spoken to on the stall!

IDEAS greatly appreciated

If the Jefferies didnt fit, the Devoucoux DEFINITELY wont!

Agree with Kate Negus, £90 for a V check breast plate....

Ben, the guy who runs devoucoux, can indeed be rather snotty! However, his English is pretty shoddy which doesn't help. Can you not ask for half of it for Christmas, as they are lush?!

If not, how about Kate Negus. I use them for training, and they are great and hardwearing. As an added bonus, her green elestic is very well known and fasionable - ideal if your a 'brand slave' like me!

The guy I spoke to at the stall was very english! but seemed only interested in clients who looked like they could afford it, funnily enough someone he thought could I knew and definetly couldnt while I can! I just didnt like that!

Pickle does have a 11 year old kate negus one that needs to be replaced, it has just worn away and the elastic is all old, suppose could do the odvious!

devoucoux will make a larger one up for you - have a feeling it could get pricy though!
I have the exact same problem and have a feeling will end up geting the dev made. I think I was once in chobham rider and Guy the saddler had made a dev copy for someone - might be worth giving them a call .....
