Looking for good durable Couch covers for a L shaped couch with non removable cushions.

My 3 rescues(greyhounds) decided to throw a party while I was at work an rip my couch to shreds(as I watched them on the camera)
So have bought a new(second hand) couch which is in brilliant condition and want to keep it somewhat safe!

I am in Ireland.

Following! I am getting loads of suggestions on Insta and some look great but no idea of what they are like in reality so recommendations would be good.
Following also. When I’ve looked it’s the arm depth I don’t seem to be able to find for my trusty old Ikea ektorp!

I tried some from Dunelm. The covers fitted the sofa OK. The problem was that they were not really dog-proof, too thin and the dogs “nesting” tore them. Covers were cheap and even cheaper as they were in the sale, I have seen very expensive ones that are made to measure specifically to be dog proof. I just use throws tucked in now.

My lot dig up the throws and burrow under them and eventually into the cushions. Yet all the dogs beds on the floor arent good enough.

Second hand leather sofas with attached cushions. 100% the best solution. We got the six seater L shape one in the dog room for €400 off facebook marketplace. Probably spent that in trying various covers and throws over the years anyway which were useless

This is actually what we did. We have two living rooms so when we moved here I sourced a very cheap leather sofa off fb market place. It’s years on been replaced by another free leather sofa from market place.
It’s basically a glorified day dog bed!
I chuck cheap blankets over it that I can wash now and then but it does the job!

We only have one small dog but he is a bit of a burrower - I bought cheap sofa covers from China as our sofas are inherited and pink (horror) and they've actually stood up really well to daily wear and tear plus dog scrabbling. They're six years old now. I bought the following from Amazon, they're no longer available but you can probably track them down via the retailer.

An elasticated single mattress cover often does the trick. Some places seem to sell fleecy bed sheets so you could go for something like that.

It does depend on the shape of the sofa. My mother has them on hers and they look fantastic, but I tried on ours and couldn’t get them to fit at all.
Yes, the cheap ones I bought are quite small. Which is fine, because our sofas are quite small, but I'm aware that ours are smaller than average. So measuring definitely important!

Not much help but I bought a set for around £50 from just a Facebook advert. They’ve lasted about 3 years so far :) Wash easily. Dog proof. Less annoying than throws.
