electric fence energisers etc where to buy from ???

I'm looking to replace my energiser as its given up the will to live after 3 years of use ( is this normal?)

I'm looking for the fenceman cp 500 does anyone know where i can get one at a bargain price ??
Ive found one for £125.69 (New) is that a good price ?
I'm also going to need those plastic clips for the tape to attach to wooden posts.

can you recommend anywhere ??

re-wooden posts,i cut up hose pipe into 4`` lenghts then double it over and nail it to the post,this makes good insulaters.the boughten ones seem to be made of sh1t metal and never last that long for me and are expensive if you need loads,my hose ones last forever.

Echo the hose pipe suggestion. Buy a cheap hosepipe (£5 or so) and chop it into bits.

I bought a CP500 from ebay, for under £100 inc p&p. Works really well. And still going strong after 3yrs (yes, they should last longer than three years!)
