Electric Fence NEWBIE! Does this seem like good value to you?

I need a 80m stretch of electric tape fencing to strip graze the paddock. I want to do it as cheaply but effectively as possible and I found this:

Which is about £50 cheaper than the nearest kit I could find. I don't mind having to buy batteries as I am hoping that after a couple of zaps pony won't go near the fence anyway
Buying all the components seperately in my local farm shop would work out at about £170!

It looks fine to me. I haven't used that exact energiser but I have a similar one and it works fine on a short fence. It looks good value too

I too haven't used this exact model but have used this type of energiser very sucessfully when we had ours in the field across the road cos it is so easy to move around. If funds are limited you could try ebay , we have managed to pick up a couple of energisers for £20 or £30 and then just get the rest mail order

The farmer has a couple of these that i've borrowed when i forgot to charge my car battry for my energizer.

They pack a fair wallop when the battrys are new i've also used them for longer lengths of fence but obv the longer the fence the less the zap
