Electric fencing help

I'm looking to refresh my fencing supplies for summer, if it ever arrives!

Where is best to bulk buy posts and tape now?
Looking for around 100 X posts and a few more big rolls of tape.
Fussy me, I only want black or green though.
Definitely no white!

Also looking at getting some solar battery/ energisers, if anyone can recommend one that delivers a good whack?
I have a Welsh D who needs the fence on full force otherwise he simply walks through.

I find eBay the best source and easy to compare things

I have hotline energisers, a buzzard and a falcon. One in particular delivers a really good whack- Google to find out which. If you’re really struggling, deer energisers are more powerful than horse ones I’ve heard.

For energisers I have one of these, and it’s brilliant. Does about 1km of fencing and delivers a whack, nothing has gone through the fence since I had it. And it’s sooooo relaxing not having to charge batteries.

Take note when buying tape. There is a choice of how many electric conductors there are in the tape, ( the silver metallic wires) it varies 4-6-8-9 or 12 strands in the tape and 3-4 or 6 in the rope, some rope also has a copper one that allows more oomph over long distances, the more conductors the better. Always use proper connectors don't just tie it.

I've just got a Mole valley battery energizer - All my 3 are now giving the fence a wide birth.

Fencing wise I've always used Viovet.
