My poor JRx got a helluva zap on her tail (long, curly and points upwards!) from the electric fence yesterday, she was shaking so much I thought I'd have to take her to the vet, but after a five minute cuddle she was fine again although looking really sorry for herself.
Can electric fences cause damage to a smallish dog? It's a mains Gallagher M300 that packs quite a punch. I'm turning the fence off when I'm up there with the dogs now, although Daisy's not inclined to go near it!
