Anyone got one of these and if so how much does it cost you a week to run leccy wise?
Wondering about getting one to keep up the yard but would have to offer landlord extra for leccy.

Hi!

I've got a Centaur two rug drier, and I can honestly say that I haven't looked back since!! I bought it about 4 years ago, when I was in despair wondering how to get wet 7'6 rugs dry without leaving them on - I seem to remember it was a disgusting winter!!

We use it on a timer depending on how wet the rugs are, and used to pay the yard owner extra (not more than £10 a month), but that has gone by the by now! Other people leave radios on etc so I keep quiet! Also, if you were to use a timer, and it automatically switched off after 4 hours, it would keep warm for ages afterwards anyway!!

I hope that helps!

7ft6 rugs !!!!! What horses have you got ? Thanks I will investigate prices etc. I suppose they are safe to use in a spare stable where the electrics might get damp ? LaSt year I was hanging mine in my porch at home and the smell when you came in the door was
disgusting !

My husband would probably file for divorce if I brought all my dirty wet rugs home!! He he!

Mine is housed in an old grain tower with the door left open, and soggy people walking around, so it does get a bit damp in there, but never had any problems. would imagine a spare stable would be fine.

I know, and 7'6 rugs don't hang up very easily!! He's an 18.2 shire x tb -must have been mad!
