My horse gets very sweated up when hunting, but rarely sweats up otherwise. Is there an electrolyte designed to be fed on those days alone, or would I be better giving him a regular dose?
Thanks for any advice

I feed mine electrolyte (aqua aid) the night before, the morning of and the evening after hunting... that's the way that Baileys recommended feeding them to him. Works brill and he'll actually drink electrolytes when we get back from hunting now.

I give 2 measures the night before, half a measure in a wet breakfast and then 2 measures when we get home in a bucket of water which I just keep on topping up until he's had enough to drink.
