Hello Can someone tell me what are the hardest movements in Elem 44. I am thinking of doing it next week but I haven't got a copy yet, and before I send my entry I wondered what is in it? I've never done elem before have been doing novice but my instructor says we are working at elem/medium at home, so thought I'd give it a try! what is the worst that can happen? I come last? Never mind it is all a bit of fun!

Thank you to whoever replies !

It is one of the simpler Elementaries but it depends on what you and your horse find difficult/easy.

The moves of 44 include canter 5m loops, 15m circles, a simple change, trot 10m circles and the medium trot/canter has to be marker to marker, ie not just showing a few medium strides as at Novice level.
The trot work is mainly working, but there is a little bit of collected needed, as well as the medium. The canter is all in working.

Of course the general way of going, ie balance, self carriage etc is expected to be better at this level than at Novice. It is not just about riding the pattern.
