I'm thinking about buying and Elevator Bridle, on the basis that the original, patented design may be the best, but at £145 I could really do with some feedback/reviews first

Has anyone got the elevator and if so, what do you think? Also has anyone had the opportunity to directly compare one with a Heritage or Rhinegold?

Many thanks people

I have two, and I love them. They are very soft and must be more confortable for the horse.

They do come up quite big though. I have two full size ones for a 16.1 TB/WB and a 17.1 Hanovarian, and I perhaps should have got the size down as they're both on the tope holes, and now they've stretched a bit, I'll have to punch extra holes in the flash noseband.

they also look very nice - not too flash, unless you go for a dressage diva black and white job!!

I highly recommend. Never tried Heritage or Rhinegold, but have heard Albion does a nice one with a similar (some say better) design.

I have 2 Original Elevators and love them! Well worth the money- I shopped around but couldn't find anything which compared. Had the Albion Comfort before the Elevator and did'nt rate it much

I had a Heritage comfort (sold it as too big) and a friend had an elevator so have made a direct comparison. Friend very disappointed with her elevator, made no difference to the horses way of going and she felt the leather on the Heritage was better. Cant say I found any difference in my horses way of going using either bridle and was happy with the quality of the Heritage bridle.

Thanks guys

I actually got the Albion for my mare and had to return it because it wouldn't go anywhere near her and it was X Full!! So I'm pleased to hear that the Elevator comes up big.

Petrie - do they come in black and white? If they do - Oh joy, she currantly wears a Stubben Black and White job and I was kinda sad about giving up the colour scheme

Yes me, I have had mine for about 4 years now and it comes up like new.

The quality is very good, Kibob was groping mine at the weekend as she couldn't believe how nice it felt. LOL

mine got stolen from the yard so I replaced it with a barnsby comfort bridle - actually prefer it as the elevator was too chunky for ty as he's quite fine. Do like the elevators though!

love my elevator and think the leather is very good quality and already really soft and supple when you first get them. but i do think if your horse has a small head the nose band can look to wide would deffo get another one
