Would have a look in vet section there was a post in there just the other day about using Manuka honey on wounds - very good for healing and also preventing infection. If they were mine I would also be giving Rescue Remedy for the next few days (and taking it myself!) and definately arnica. They will all help the healing and fight infection.

I second Slinkyunicorns suggestion of using Maluka honey. If you decide to get some get the highest no one. I think that my friends vet said that it must be above 12 (sorry cant remember what no's it comes in !) Apparently is speeds the healing up & can prevent proud flesh. The down side is that it is very messy to use.
