......is doing great today.
He was only about 3/10 lame this morning compared to 8/10 last night. Minimal swelling, the haematoma has disappeared
assume that it has drained already, luckily the puncture goes upwards, so it's draining really well!
Ellis was quite happy for me to flush the hole out with pev first thing (and I syringed it right in as well!) I put him in a small paddock as he seemed quite mobile.
Vet seen to him, very happy with him, and surprised at the improvement! More IV bute and ABs today, then IV AB's for 3 more days and bute over the weekend.
It's all looking great, so he's back out in the day, will come in overnight though, much to his disappointment. I spent the morning removing all the electric fencing
