Has anyone done the 80 here? Looking at course pics and the XC looks very "up to height" with a couple of roll tops with a fair amount of brush on them. Can someone tell me they just photograph big before I terrify myself and enter!! I am only just starting to jump 80 and did my first 80 eventers challenge today but I was hoping for a nice easy one for our first proper ODE...
 
Which course photos are you looking at ?
I've done the pairs 80 xc and then the 90 ode, wouldn't say it was overly big and up to height although saying that that's the problem I have with their 100; I think it goes pretty big and up to height but with no real questions/combinations
 
The ones on the FB group unaffiliated xc photos. The hunter trial was on there too looks much nicer! Oh well I have just entered and will hope for the best...

I've done the 1m there, it was up to height but not technical so I would imagine the 80/90 will follow suit. Just remember it's all for fun, kick on and smile!
 
I did the 80 pairs last year after a total loss of confidence (me not horse) and I remember thinking it was quite up to height and there were two steps down which you wouldn't normally get at a BE80! After saying that course ran really well and I really enjoyed it! Good luck, look up, kick on and smile :) :)
