Whats the youngest that you can take an egg from a horse to transfer to another mare?

Ok, just to make sure, is the question how young the embryo can be before you remove it from mother to host mare?

I would guess as soon as she is breeding fertile as a two year old although not sure i would want mess with a two yr old that much.

Sorry it usually done 8-10 days after ovulation but before implantation at 16 days.

I think the earliest they do it over here is taking eggs from 2 year old donor fillies and placing them in older mature recipient mares.
