Gutted! We've been training really hard for this and I was up for hours cleaning tack last night!! Oh well, we have had about 5 inches over near Derby so I guess it was inevitable. Does anyone know if they are planning on another date or is it completely cancelled? If so, does anyone know of any other pre season runs we could get in? I know of Aston le walls but their entries say they are closed now. Thanks x

Elms Farm at Lincoln run some eventer trials which are sort of make your own ODE, but its not lik Osberton xc wise!

Grove and Rufford Hunt are running a Hunter Trial at Osberton on the 28th March, as far as I remember (I can't find where I have put the shedule!) they are planning on 75cm,90cm and 1.05cm classes. The shedules are on their website I think. I would think the course would be very much the same, at least you could have a run xc!

I'm not far from you Hels_Bels and we had no snow at all until 15mins ago and have had an inch since then and falling fast.

Can anyone think of a use for a large thermos of coffee, two boxes of sandwiches and a bottle of sloe gin? I'm guessing the PTP will be off so no luck there either.

I'm a little south of you (wetherby ish) and its been snowing here since about 6-7am I think, still coming down thick, so looks like you may be in for more

Are you guys kidding - was this event to be held this weekend?! An ODE in February?! We don't see any cross country until the very end of March at the VERY earliest!!! I seriously live in the wrong part of the country
