Has anyone tried any of the Emerald Green Feeds? I'm thinking about trying their Grass Pellets this winter for my 25 year old pure arab to try and stop him losing condition over the winter.
 
Yes I use the grass nuts and grass chaff for my cob, she doesn't have much but it helps get her vits down her. I also have two aged shetlands, one being thirty years old drops weight terribly summer and winter. He lives on a trug of soaked grass nuts and speedy beet a day as he can't chew hay now. They all love emerald green feeds.
 
I've used the grass-tastic before when there was no other grass in the feed shop. Had a few bags as horse loved it. I then went back to graze on throughout the summer when it was just to mix in with his balancer as it was cheaper and lasted much longer. Totally different texture to the graze on. Will happily buy it again though!
 
Yes they are made locally to me so are easy to get and cheap Use their alfalfa or grass chaff too as it is not mollassed or treated in any way and grown in the fields around the farm
 
Yes have used the grass pellets. Thought they were really good product. Would definitely buy again but hard to get locally. Kent - in case anyone knows where you can get it.
 
Yes I've used the grass chaff previously and my mare is currently on the grass nuts. She loves them :)
They're great for good doers and my local feed supplier has started stocking them too which is even better!
 
No complaints here either. Better than graze-on imho. When soaked, they fluff up so soft. Takes longer than graze-on, more like half an hour. I mix mine with speedibeet and all ours do well with plenty of energy.

I've ordered it online direct from their website in the past, arrived swiftly :)
