These stories are really bad ! I have noticed an increase in the number of emergency vehicles in my area - along with a large increase in the number of horses.
Every time I hear a siren it sends a shiver down my spine because I am sure an accident will happen soon. There are many twists and turns and few places to 'escape' - this is why I am doing as much as I can to reduce the risks; we are also in a 'low flying zone'.
