The Miele cat and dog! :D:D

The blooming vacuum cleaner. She has chewed through the hose. I really lost my temper with her and i think it hit home for a few minutes as she did go to her bed... Last week it was the computer leads. Unfortunately the fuse went in the charger thing... That cost £80 as i needed a replacement fast. Now a £200 vacuum cleaner! She is the most destructive dog i have ever had! She may have to go!:eek::eek::eek:;)
Unless I can have her teeth removed...but she would probably still gum things to death!
I have been home all day too! But I was ignoring her at the time!

The only positive is that I think the Miele was on the way out as it had been making a funny whining noise...But that might have just been the mouse...


So if you are thinking about getting a Mastiff puppy having seen the cute pics of Emma please think again. Dont do it!
 
LMAO - well if you makes you feel any better.....

Today is my son's birthday (17), last night daughter and I baked and iced a cake for him. This afternoon we lit the candles, took it up to his room and all had a yummy slice. Just then one of his mates came to the door, I didn't want to embarass him by bringing a cake down so left it in his room until they had gone.

Rosie (collie pup) managed to get upstairs and ate most of the cake :(

Not only that but yesterday she ate through the lead of my keyboard whilst sitting by my feet as she always does - I couldn't understand why I suddenly couldn't reply to my friend on FB chat!!

Again today, she has chewed through Daughter's phone charger - completely in half :mad: So I have just had to order another from Amazon (express delivery) and hope to hell that it arrives before we go on hols on Saturday!

This dog is costing me a fortune!!!!

Who'd have dogs eh? ;)

Our first rottie, Holly, ate the bannisters and set off the burglar alrm. She pulled the carpet up and chewed through the cables. We couldn't turn it off 'cos it thought it had been tampered with. I'll never forget hubby up a ladder in a howling gale smashig the box off the wall with a hammer. He was cussing poor lil Holly and she and I were in fits, me of laughter and her "cos she found the whole thing wildly exciting.
Sage ate every remote control, mobile phone and my purse including credit cards. I spent 6 months with a credit card full of teeth marks. Got some very strange looks out shopping!
 
She has a crate but tbh i dont like her being in it all day and especially not when i am home. Have thought about an outside kennel/run but she is so friendly I worry she could be stolen if Trojan wasnt with her. Having had potential burglars turn up in broad daylight it is essential we have a dog in the house so Trojan would have to stay in. No-one would dare enter if he is in the house LOL!

I should have put the vacuum cleaner away! ;)

LOL! We have also got chewed remotes! The week before last i didnt shut the door to the office and she had 3 files off the book shelf. The papers were spread all over the place! I could have cried!

I wont bother to get a burglar alarm then!:D
 
Oops naughty Emma!

Our dogs have chewed a few belongings although it was me that ran the power cable over with the new hoover damaging it costing £20 to replace. If it was just the hose you could probably get a replacement part, but if its dying anyway perhaps not much point.
 
Mmnn! My GSD has been very expensive in this game too! To date she has destroyed 2 remotes, 1 pair of my glasses, 1 national health hearing aid, 1 £800 hearing aid and my other half's false teeth! She always knows she has done wrong by her expression but can't seem to resist thins that smell and taste of us. UGH! We are slowly learning to put things out of her reach. Funny though it always seems to happen when we have had that extra glass of wine and forget to tidy up last thing!:)
 
Poor you!...gets frustrating. How old is she? Mine is only just out of the chewing phase at a year and 4 months but still regresses sometimes when we are away and she is staying with friends.

Again if it makes you feel better our list of damages....

computer wire at work
For some reason she has a thing about sweet pea plants and went through a phase of uprooting them and throwing the bits about the garden.
Same as above with the pond plants (pond is now fenced off as she then used to career through the house covered in black pond ooze)
many many shoes.....
she has eaten just about every toy we have given her

and this is with tonnes of exercise and decent food without colours etc...

....hey this is quite theraputic!

We found that cycling with her has really helped to settle her. She operates at about 100mph so trotting next to us on the bike a few times a week has done wonders. Just have to be a bit careful about not too much as can be hard on the joints.

She is 9 1/2 months.So still limited exercise wise.
I have managed to get a replacement hose! Yay! £40 as opposed to £190! And the vacuum cleaner is now put away! ;)
 
good to hear that it isn't going to be quite as expensive as you thought. She is still really young so plenty of time for her to chill out a bit.

We got our laptop looked at and fingers crossed we might get away with buying a new screen rather than a whole new laptop....

....honestly dogs.....

although mine has just wandered up to me and is now looking very cute and as if butter wouldn't melt!
 
Wow, your lot make my Korben look like an angel :D He pulled the linoleum up off my back hall where he sleeps, and proceeded to shred it to pieces. Luckily it was just cheap stuff we had shoved down when we moved in and we were going to replace it when we fitted the new kitchen anway - hes currently got a stone floor back there though and Im putting down floor tiles.

My cats are actually worse than my dog - they have ripped holes in my leather suite which fortunately I was given for free when we moved in - they will be having their claws clipped prior to the new suite arriving though :D
