Empty Supplement Tubs?

I use my garlic ones to put Feedmark Benevit in as I get it in a big sack.

The other ones either my Dad or Son have for fishing bait or Hubby has them for his workshop.

I use some to make up morning feeds into (mouse proof!) I have one for tack cleaning, one for storing small things in....stuff like that!

i decant other products into them, for example I have a 25 Kg sack of linseed, Ive got the sack at home and a large supplements tub of linseed at the yard.

Also if Im going away for a couple of days I make up dry feeds into them, label them with the horses' names and can leave them with my OH to hand out.

Either reuse them by buying refills of the supplement.. or, using them to pick out hooves into, then no need to sweep up all the mud, poo and gross stuff from their feet :D

We use them for storing screws, nails, electric fence keepers, decanting supplement refill bags... The bigger ones I use as grooming kit carriers. Very handy :)

With our house hold rubbish collections they take most plastic so mine go there.
but you could take them you a recycling center when you have a few.
Or buy the refill bags of supplements and reuse the tubs.

I feed the wild birds and buy the big sacks of seed and peanuts , I fill the tubs with this and niger seed, sunflower seeds and fatballs. This makes it more managable to fill the feeders up every morning and only requires one journey.

I also use them for water for the dogs in the garden and never have enough, friends are always borrowing them and forgetting to return them:D

I use mine for everything and anything; one for soaking oats, one for water to mix in feed, one for taking treats to the field to top up the equiball and one currently has a little packed lunch in for my boy who's going to hospital for a few days tomorrow :(

I use one of mine to put water in when cleaning cuts etc as Ethel goes out of her way to boot buckets across the yard when I try to clean any nicks she has, the little supplement pot she leaves alone for some reason! Also use my other ones for storage, one is especially for hoof picks as I always lose them, so now have loads :p

We use ours for anything and everything!!!

Morning feeds, soaking sugar beet, plaiting kit, tack cleaning kit, shoe polishing kit, spare bridle parts esp keepers, treat boxes (form treats that comes in massive non vermin proof bags), loads of uses!!

I use a big one for soaking sugarbeet. I agree, it's nice to think there are other uses for them. They such sturdy pots! I sound like my mother whoalways keeps the little pots, spoons etc off the plane when she's been on holiday. You never know when they might come in handy!!

We have one for picking hooves out, one for putting food in to take when we want to bribe him into the horse box for the way home  we have a large one for keeping treats like apples and carrots in (mouse proof :D )
Where I work there are small ones hiding behind gates with keys for the gate in
Plant pots
Tack cleaning water bucket
Or I buy the refil bags, like garlic granuels bags, and just empty that into the tub again :)

When I was younger mum used them as dressage markers with the letters written on in permy marker filled with sand, meant they could be left out all winter and didn't get damaged when I rode into them. Also with handles removed used for bucket jumping. Making up separate feeds for the week of pony club camp. Uses are endless.

Mine generally go to make sheep feed buckets when the sheep are in lambing pens. But I don't feed that many supplements as I use complete feeds, only garlic in summer
