Just wondered if anyone knows of any enclosed areas / fields that can be used to run the mutts in? Owning 2 sighthounds is making me old before my time and no matter how yummy the sausage treats are nothing compares apparently to ******ing off in the opposite direction.
I have spoken with the farmer at the yard about potentially fencing off a field but whilst he ponders I thought I'd see what everyone else uses. Happy to pay - would be cheaper in the long run than the therapy ;-)

I got three Sighthound including a stray which no ones claimed n now letting off to hav free runs
No enclosed area but local park n their recall not too bad but will often chase n kill squirrels ,just gotta b vigilant of furries
We also hav a national park where it's fairly fenced in but hav lots of smells n furries to chase
I also take mine on my bike ,yep all three
U cud may ask a local equestrian in door sch for a free run
Or why not hav a go at lure coursing ,so they're chasing ( not live )
One of mine has such a high prey drive all she wants to do is chase n kill ,got more obedient as she's got older ,,sometimes lol

have a friend who has sighthounds, she is going to hire the barn that they use for agility for a sighthound meet up.
there are also group walks.my dogs best mate is a lurcher and he has great recall.
will pm you.
