Sincere apologies if posting In the wrong area. I am new. HELLO!
I have a reactive pup and use secure dog fields so regually that I want my own.
I am not made of money so another idea is to rent a field that I can use and market as a secure dog field. Has anyone got a 1 or 2 ache patch of land that I could rent and use as a dog field please? Stoke prior / Worcester area. Thank you

Planning permission, thousands of £’s on fencing, secure storage for ride on mower and various equipment, website, booking system, insurance… farming friends of ours did it and were making a profit within a year but the outlay was huge.

Probably easiest to just keep renting a field to run your dog!

People in my village bought a 5 acre field just outside the village boundary and set up 2 acres as a dog park last year. Full planning was needed, 6 ft secure otter fencing, 6ft double gates so dogs can be let out of the cars securely and not get onto the road. Shelter, seating for owners, trees planted, agility fences, poo bins etc. they are builders so all done at cost and they keep the quad, mower and tools at home. They are there are 7am every day and I often see them there in the evenings doing maintenance. It’s not a relaxing sideline and they’ve probably spent £100,000 on it already.

Yes, a friend did similar about 6 years ago. The set up costs were eye watering.

I can't help but I do know a dog breeder who does just that. Pp can't be very difficult to get, as they are springing up all round here.

I use them regularly with my dog and agree they need quite a bit of maintenance. Getting some land for your own private use would be worth considering. Making a business of it much much harder. I’d love an acre or two to run my dog in but so expensive here in south of England.

OP, there is a new one in Wychbold, turn by The Crown and it is just beyond the motorway bridge. A new bridge and road has been constructed.

Or there are two in Cutnall Green. One is on the main road into Droitwich and the other one is in Addis Lane - all types and breeds are welcome, one person per dog for the latter.

Commercial people have to apply for planning permission and jump through various hoops. Secure fencing is expensive.

I think the only way you will do this is to buy your own plot of land and fence it yourself. You might find a generous owner who will let you and probably the only way is to go round knocking on doors and asking.
