Just musing the question above. Anybody knows what actual happens? Do they emerge when drug is detected and die in the intestines - or - do they die in the gut wall and stay there/get absorbed ? not getting anywhere with Googlevet ?
When doing my own FEC/Saliva tests I’ve always used Equest after first hard frost as recommended for possible encysted burden. This year I’m on a vet worming program - last FEC Nov was ‘no eggs seen’ but blood/antibody test for encysted came back as - as positive as possible for encysted burden. Equest given - it’s just got me thinking ? all I can make out is that they are at a larval stage when they burrow and emerge as adults.
Henry Weston’s and Digestive’s with lemon marmalade on offer for anyone with the answer ?
