I haven't been on here much as it's been a difficult few months with Arthur's owners out if the blue announcing their decision to sell him.

He went back to them tonight and we are heartbroken, he was a massive character and he and Mr W had a real partnership, they were wonderful to watch. He could squeeze marks out of him in tests and it didn't go unnoticed, judges often commented 'cleverly ridden'.

We had a ball the last three years, with premier leagues, regionals, winter championships and the home international.

So nothing really to say except I hope he finds someone to love him as much as we do, stay safe and stay sound my lovely Arthur Bear xxx

Really sorry to hear this, loved reading your reports about him. Hope he finds a really good home, and you and Mr W can find another super horse to fill the gap he will leave

That's always going to be the situation when you ride horses for owners - they are not yours to decide the fate thereof. Which is why I no longer ride any that are not my own. Hope he goes to a caring and competent new owner.

Hope somebody will be lucky enough to have as good a relationship with him as Mr W did and who can nurture his quirks and love him. So tough being a professional having seen some recent tweets where pros are having their horses sold from under them. How's the hip?

Reading the title I feared it was 'goodbye'. Such a shame but hopefully whoever buys him will appreciate all the work 'the worrieds' have done with him. Couldn't you win the lottery ??

I have always enjoyed reading about Arthur and Mr W's achievements, what a partnership. I really hope he finds a fabulous home, and that you find another to match up to him x

Thanks everyone he was such fun. We are well aware of the limitations when you are not owners, this isn't the first time and I'm sure I won't be the last time it happens, (Unless we win the lottery ;)) I've been doing it but no luck yet!

We have some young horses coming through so hopefully I'll get my mojo back! I rescued a little pony on Thursday so he's been keeping me busy (Mr W is threatening to divorce me :o)) he's a softy really as I heard him telling his mum how sad it was and he's sure he'll turnout just fine with us.
