End of season report

Fab "round up" report! :D I also think Ash is fab and hope you find him a lovely new home. If I was richer...! ;) I can't wait to read your reports with Sarnie in 2011, I hope next season more than compensates for this year's disappointing short season with her.

Really enjoyed reading that, your horses are gorgeous.

I must say its stories like Ash's that's putting us off selling one that I really should, its just too stressful, and very unfair to honest sellers.

The very best of luck wit the 2011 season, will look forward to your reports.

Really enjoyed your report and photos - you have some lovely horses. Good luck for next year :)

Did you find the NLP useful? I had a couple of sessions a few years ago and found that it really works.

Yes really pleased with the NLP. There was a stand at Barbury and it was one of main positives of that trip. It really has made me think through some things and given me some tools to cope with areas I struggle. I can really beat myself up over slight mistakes and also aspire to be as good as the pros when realistically with a job, limited number of resources and competition rides it will never be possible - it has helped me come to accept that - most of the time!

I tried retiring once but was miserable as sin, so it's not to be recommended!

Am loving Rosie, can't wait to see more of her, and Ash is just a dude. I'll be first on the list for the syndicate please but he may have to go on the stretching machine first. ;) And Pippa is a small horse for our yard!

Will wish you all the best for 2011, especially with Sarnie as she is such a star.

Ps. Is it wrong that I winced and laughed in sync with you coming off the mechanical horse? I wasn't any better but I've just shoved my memories of it to the back of my brain and will stick with falling off normal horses thanks. ;)

Hoiw long did the retirement last? I will need to retire before I bankcrupt myself but then again measels is promising a lottery win :D

I know I have not had any success shrinking Pippa but perhaps I could have more stretching Ash - any suggestions? Might sell a bit better if he is 16hh?

Shame we weren't on the same group as I have this funny feeling you probably gracefully landed and rolled. My forward rolls in the gym were more of a flop :(

Great report SJ!
Sarnie looking as regal as ever! Next year will be her year for sure.

If I win the lottery I'll buy Ash for you to ride - how does that sound?

Loving Pippa - but then I like big inattentive mares ;) and I look forward to seeing more of the 'malingerer' next year too!

Whenever I feel a bit tired or despondent with the short days, cold weather and a horse on DIY I remember that you do so much more and at ridiculous times of the day so I give myself a kick up the backside!

That would be a good solution, mind you sounds like there is going to be a lot of lottery wins :D Do you want to sponsor Sarnie too?

It would be nice if some of you would return the favour and give me a kick up the backside  I have no motivation to get fit and am not booking any dressage lesson as it is an hours drive away in an evening after work and can't be bothered. So how in the earth am I going to improve?!

Yep, lottery win also on the cards [insert grinning icon that I don't kow how to do yet] :)

I am so glad that Pippa has turned out to be better than we even hoped :) Like the others I'll be following her and the rest of the gang's progress closely in '11!

: D (without space) = :D

Fantastic can't wait 2011, just how big is the lottery win going to be??

Great report, Ash is gorgeous, I really hope he'll be snapped up, he has such a great record, looks like such a lovely person... jeez people, Cornwall is NOT Outer Mongolia!
V v best of luck with 2011, hope it's much better than this year, and that Sarnie's problems are behind her now and you can crack on with the big stuff again.

How about the scary thought that the eventing season is only 10 weeks away!
Does that motivate you?

I will be interested to see the all new laid back Sarah Jane without the bruises from beating herself up!!

Cornwall is NOT Outer Mongolia! This went on my last ad and still people rang up including from Bristol and told me it was too far. I was tempted to send him up the line to sell but just lose too much money that way :(

For Sarnie it is 13 (not that I am counting) she will start at Gatcombe.
