So was at work yesterday doing stable managment with the pony club kids and thought we could kill 2 birds with 1 stone so we took hay and water up to the little paddocks for the 2 lame horses, and did some field management at the same time, the morning was going so well, the kids were being great and we had got loads done. One of the horses is a wee bit funny at times, can be a bit fly with her back legs, she squeels at you if you brush her belly and pulls horrid faces at you, but then sometimes she can be really sweet! Anyway, I cant carry the water buckets at the mo because of my back, so I said to the kids to keep back a mo, and I'll throw her hay in down along the fence, then we can do the water without any trouble. So I got an armfull of hay, chucked it in for her, she swung round so bloody quick and booted me on my thigh, straight away my thigh swells up so quick, we were watching it get bigger by the second, then the old sweats and shakey thing starts going on when I discover I'm bleeding lots too!! Cut a then long story short, get carted off to A&E and I've got a big heamatoma (sp) under the skin, and have got to rest it. I'm now sat at home VERY bored and missing my boy loads. Hate going for even half a day without seeing him :( I can't drive at the moment, and my car is up the yard so I'm proper stuck at home! One of my mates is going to take me up on Wednesday as we have a jumping evening and although I can't ride, I don't want to miss it as one of my other mates is jumping my boy! Sorry it's a bit long! Just wanted to have a rant!! xx ;)
