Endurance - Cirencester Park cancelled

Did my first endurance there and had great fun and was hoping to do a longer distance one this year, any suggestions for alternatives, what is Barbury(novice 40km) like?

It is hoped that an alternative venue can be found for Cirencester in 2013, but it's definitely not running in 2012. Apparently, last year the Earl Bathhurst died and his son, who inherited the estate (Cirencester Park) has put all of the prices up to somewhere in the region of £2,000/day, which is too prohibitive a cost for the event to run.

I'm thinking of doing Barbury myself also, but as I haven't been there before, I'm sorry I can't advise you on what it's like.

That's a great same, hopefully the fun ride they hold there will still continue...
