endurance riding. how do you...

win? I've looked at some results and some get awards with no first, second etc but international events seem to have placings. How do you figure out who's done the best in a ride if there are no first and second places etc and how do the gradings work?

graded rides come as grade 1 being top and following down 2,3,4 and completion, they are given in the form of speed and heart rates you are competing against yourself in these. race rides are when they get 1st 2nd and so on you are competing against everyone else in these, there are still very strict vet procedures to pass

theres ERs when there are placngs and competatve rdes when horses are graded , no placngs but you can see f you are mprovng/gettng ftter by the tme taken and heart rate and grade on fnshng.

Thanks, How do you tell which is a race ride and which is not?

the fixture list tells you what rides are on for the year and the distances available

I've had a look at the fixtures list on the endurance GB website. I stiil can't see which rides are race rides and which are graded. It just says ER, CR etc

er means race ride - ncr is non competitive ride - cr is competitive ride

On the Endurance GB website it says ER = endurance ride, and from what I can see from the resulkts from last year, these are graded?
