Anyone where them? I had a bit of Xmas money left and had fancied a pair for ages so bought some from Performance equestrian. They fit lovely but will they be robust? Seem really flimsy. Give me hope they will last longer than a couple of wears!

I have a range of riding tights . kerritts, goldfinch, irideon and also from performance. Some of them have lasted me 10 yrs plus so are very good wearing.

I bought some irideon ones from performance equestrian - love them. only worn them a dozen times or so but they were - ahem - at full stretch and have stood up to it really well! :)

Sorry to be a but dim but why would you needs tights on when riding? Are you side saddle???

Salyfinn you wear them instead of jods - lighter weight and cooler etc. Particularly favoured by endurance riders. (I am not an endurance rider but thought they would keep the flab well controlled - they did!)

Umm, I've got some "Equetech" cheap and cheerful ones - can't quite remember where I got them now, BUT be aware that in certain types of saddle they may be a bit slippery.

Haven't tried them in a synthetic, but when I've ridden with a waterproof saddle cover on........ its a bit like a turd slipping around on the top of a dungheap TBH! So be aware.

Other than that, they're fantastic. Even if it does rain, you stay dry simply because your legs are warm, which wicks off any moisture.

oops MiJods you have reminded me... I also have a blue pair (cant remember what make) and when I wore them in a downpour the blue soaked through to my knickers (now an unattractive dark grey / white knabstrupper design) and my legs which were blue for several days despite baths and scrubbing! :D

I second the Kerritts ones. Love my ones and I wear them pretty much every day. Really comfy and are sturdy considering how thin they are, got one little "run" on a knee but I caught it on something. I hope to get the winter version soon (only problem with Kerritts are they are pricey as only one online retailer in the UK sells them currently). Just wish their full seat tight version were truly beige and not a strange greenish tinge which makes them unusable for competition :(

We just bought some from an American lady who calls herself crazy legs tights on facebook. It was a bit of a gamble but we are really impressed with the quality, and my word does she have a lot of different fabrics. We will definitely be making another order.

The bit about holding the flab in caught my attention - does it work. If yes, what is the fit like for a shorty like me? I need to replace my everyday breeches soon & flab restraining sounds good.

I have seen these on Facebook. Was shipping expensive, are they quite stretchy.

I agree! Keep hoping they will come out with a creamy shade rather than greenish beige - I wear them for "best" anyway (one style of their breeches seems to be a bit beige-r than others so I can get away with those ones) but technically they are not competition correct which is a shame.
I seem to have quite a collection of Kerrits now and love them, they are so comfortable and lovely to wear in the summer months. Great in rain too as they dry off quickly...! The Kerrits have really kept their shape and I've been really impressed by their durability, they get worn every day and still look as good as they originally did. I'm definitely converted from "normal" breeches!
Haven't tried the ones from performance equestrian but imagine they would be similar x

Why do they have to be so flipping expensive! :/ would love a pair. A few at my yard are members of CDR and one lady swears by hers, she wears them most days and says in summer they are cool and the winter ones are super warm.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this but a company called three lows stock kerrits. Postage is reasonable and delivery quick. Hubby bought my xmas present (more kerrits tights) from there and seem pretty impressed with them
