Enfield and Cambridgeshire chase

i went to an enfield chase one last week if thats the same ??????

only on foot but it looked very friendly.

im trying to find a horsey to take!

I'm not a member but I've been out with them before. They're a nice enough bunch and you don't have to jump but I found it a bit stop-and-start which really wound up my horse. I do go out regularly with the Cambridge University Draghounds though and they are fab although a fair bit faster! PM if you want any info.

I went out with them quite a bit last year. Really nice bunch, not much jumping but good fun. I also went out with the Cambridge drag hunt which was great fun too. Unfortunately my friend has sold her horse and I prefer going out hunting with a friend.
Have fun - hope the ground dries out a bit for you

Great to hear !

My instructor is taking the Bob for me next Thurs ( ground permitting), and I'm going to follow on foot.

Bob has hunted many times with his previous owner ( the lovely KatB from here), but I have never been brave enough!! :o

I know that he loves it, so hopefully if it doesn't look toooooo scary, then I'll take him the next time!!

So if you see a hairy piebald when your out, come and say hello!!!

It's the Cambridgeshire Hunt with Enfield Chace...

It's very wet everywhere and it isn't parkland, but should be a nice meet - I have an appointment in the morning so won't be going - very friendly and not scary!

Does anyone know when they are meeting at the Huntsman, Goose Green? It's hacking distance from me and would be my first time so could get home easily if need be!

I went to see them off at Wheathampstead last week and can't wait to have a go.

Also if anyone's interested I wouldn't mind hiring my horse out for a meet as long as it's not the Huntsman!
