Hi. I've been looking at horseboxes with a view to buy and my other half keeps asking what engine size they are. So far no-one has known! One said 6000 cc on the logbook. Does that mean 6 cylinder or 6 litre engine?

Thanks in advance :-)

Yes size of engine and most likely six cylinder too the older lorrys were best with the bigger engines.. now most are 4 cyl and as powefull or even more, also lighter and better on fuel too (post2001)

What size of lorry?
Most are known by the model numbers
i,e Leyland/ Daf 135, 145, 145T etc.
Some makes are more favoured than others, i,e Cummins engine on an older Leyland is meaty! regardless of cc.
