I went to see the gang with my mum and little brother. We had planned to take Paddy for a ride and Violet and Sparky for a walk but it was far too hot! I got Violet out and sat down and couldn't get back up, I was sweating and just generally too hot - Luckily madam decided she didn't want to go walkies either and happily grazed next to the bench. She really suits her new headcollar!
Note to self: Black and Pink look AMAZING!!!
After 10 minutes or so, I decided enough was enough for Violet as with her being black, the sun affects her a bit more than the others, so put her back inside with some hay and water. Then I brought the little tinker out! Wow, Sparky was so excited to get out! He raced out of his stable and stood grazing peacefully. Again, I decided not to go for walkies as it really was far too hot for both us, and the gang!
And then it was time for my lovely Paddy! He was turned out in the dry paddock with Danny and they were happily stood eating hay in the shade! Decided against riding as I was already overheating and didn't want to pass out!! So, left the boys to it - Which i'm sure they appreciated!!
Anybody want an ice-cream??
