Enough rain!!

Same here. I actually threw down grass seed last Sat and already have sproutlings!

I am scared that the oldies field will be full of zoomies as they are the troublemakers on the yard but at the same time am glad....horses were getting hangry and miserable. Now I am afraid of the sugar in the grass now....

Yes, my two were getting snarky at each other so I separated them. I should be able to put them back together soon. The grass is looking rather luminous!

I've never actually seen rain like I saw yesterday afternoon. The worst part only lasted 5 minutes but it was beyond torrential.
I am beyond glad I've moved, new field has good grass covering and seems to drain well.
The weather here is bonkers, Tuesday morning it was 17 degrees, fresh, sunny and I was debating going to the beach. By the time I could go to the beach in the afternoon it was grey, windy and rain on and off.

We still seem to be missing out on the rain here. Dry after the mist cleared yesterday but neighbour went to Hull and said it was raining over there.

I've been caught out twice riding, both times it was too warm for a coat when I set out (full sun) despite rain clouds on the horizon. Both times wet to my pants . We've had a LOT of rain over the last week or so and the fields/lawn have greened up, but our stream is still just a series of puddles.
