As above really entered unaffiliated one day event in 3 week and dont know what to expect.

We have been xc schooling a couple of times, happy jumping the size of jumps that are in the class and can do a reasonable dressage test.

Currently building canter fitness and i am planning on doing some xc schooling in school with poles - corners and barrels and skinnies etc.

Is there anything else we could be doing to prepare?

Getting very nervous now x

sounds like you're doing everything you need to do...the only other thing is to go out to do some dressage/sj/hunter trials if you get a chance, any competition is good experience, and makes me much less nervous when the event actually come around :)
and the other thing is...RELAX!! it's 3 weeks away...just keep doing what you're doing, maybe go schooling again or do some sj at home a bit bigger than you need to for comp, anything to get you feeling confident for the event. i used to get terribly nervous, but it is meant to be fun :p take a deep breath before you go in the ring, and SMILE. trust me, force yourself to smile and you whole body relaxes and suddenly you actually feel like smiling. good luck, enjoy it, and write everyone a nice report after :D

Thanks for that, will try and enjoy it. Doing combined training this weekend and showjumping weekend after so should be good warm ups x

Apart from relax and enjoy it I'd say write out a list of everything you want to take with you. Its amazing quite how much stuff you need for an ODE and you don't want to be stressing about finding it all or having forgotten something on the morning.
