I got my day ticket entry for Pulborough in today, and am now feeling very scared!

It's only training level, but will have been a good two and a half years since I last did a ODE or any kind of competitive cross country... also the horse's first ever ODE and first whole cross country course.

It's going to be a wholly terrifying day!

Who else is going to be at Pulborough?

Ah cool, my 5 yo is going to Pulborough for the training. It'll be his first ODE and whole xc too so will be interesting

let's just hope you are not at the water!! this is my big worry... she isn't always the keenest on getting her feet wet straight away

dressage should be hilarious - one of canter strike offs is still very 'variable', and if she's over excited (which she will be) left bend becomes completely non-existent.

showjumping should be ok though, if her jumping last weekend was anyhting to go by

(SJ is normally my biggest worry too...)

You've got a heads up on me then, my chap hasn't been xc schooling yet!! He will have been by then though, and he's hunted so fingers crossed.

Your dressage sounds exactly like mine will be..........

I hope I will see you there to..... I am doing my mare's first pn.

The water at coombelands is lovely - the nicest possible for a baby. Good luck!
