Bobbi and I are still getting used to the hacking from our new yard. On Saturday we went out with the (very patient) lady from down the road and we did a new route. When she asked if Bobbi was OK with sheep I said that I'm sure she'd be fine. Famous last words! ?
To be fair, it wasn't the sheep that caused the problem, it was the VERY grumpy ram who had been separated from his ewes and was incredibly cross. Bobbi's head went up, she stopped dead and even turned away from a treat, she was so worried about him. Fearing a quick spin and a RUN AWAAAAY (she has form), I got off. She lead past him, was OK with the rest of the sheep, and positively loved the alpacas, even giving one a kiss.
So it was all good. Until this completely inflexible oldie realised she couldn't get back on a small pony from the ground. The owners of the animals were in their garden and promised they wouldn't show anyone the ring doorbell footage of my pathetic attempt. Then they got me a step.
I can't even use the excuse that I'm short, I'm 5ft 7 and Bobbi is 13.3. ?
