has anyone else had a problem getting there entry fee's refunded? i was entered to go to a large show centre but having a horse at the yard confirmed to have strangles, unable to go, i rang the show centre and was told i couldnt have my money back, i have checked the show schedule and their website and can find nothing regarding cancellations, especially for a valid reason and also for the fact i was being responsible as this centre has only just got back into business after being closed down itself with strangles, any help/ideas grateful

Organisers often don't pay in cheques/process online card payments until the event itself. With BE, if you withdraw within the time allowed they just won't process you payment, but I don't know what the deal would be at your show. Which centre was it?

sorry been away, it was patchetts in aldenham, watford, herts, i have checked their show schedule and also their website and it doesnt mention about refunds?
