Well its been quite a while since ive posted in here but now baby pony is up and running competition wise i thought id update you all on our progress! 
The last post in here saw me saying goodbye to my eventing reports for a while due to broken pony bear, so end of sept i purchased Beanz a 4 yr old ISH! On the 29th Nov he started his competition career at the dizzying heights of 65cm SJ!! He was pretty epic that day, first time in an indoor arena first time at real competition! We had the first fence down in the first round bit of a failure to pick up all 4 feet but by the 2nd round we were flying for a lovely sedate clear - which is all i was after that day!
The following weekend saw our dresage debut, 2 prelims in horrific wind at yet another new venue! Wasnt bothered by the white boards and performed 2 very nice tests for 61% and 58% and coming home with a 4th his first frilly!

Next up was an eventer trail, i entered the 60cm and 70cm, he flew round the 60cm not looking at a thing, even the ducks werent scary so i was super super pleased to end up 4th considering it was another education outing not a competitive one! Next up 70cm we hadnt jumped a full course of 70cm yet! He flew round once again just sadly tiredness took over and the back legs got a little lazy at 14 it was a long course of 15 fences and it was his 2nd full round so once again i was pleased with him, the increase in height wasnt an issue and neither were the fences! Little pony is doing very well so far!
finishing up the round up brings us to this weekend just gone where i decided hunting would be fun!! We went out with the east anglian bloodhounds, ive only ever been hunting once before and i have no idea if he had (probably has coming from ireland!) he was MEGA all day! only took him in a snaffle and no pulling or barging just stayed where i put him, in front, middle and at the back and to top it off he jumped everything i asked him too, it was a fantastic day out and i cant wait to take him again
Over the xmas break we have a few things planned....

And finally he is entered in for his first arena ODE!!
so very excited about the up coming season with this little fella, and if all goes to plan hopefully the bear will be coming back into work towards the end of jan!
