Has anyone got one?
Ive just bought one as my mare was scared of the slight noise the Equilibrium massage pad made??? and I didnt want to mess about with a hot water bottle, trying to stop it sliding around.
So I tried the Epiony heat pad on me, it barely gets warm on the hottest setting and I cant imagine how it will supply heat through a horses coat at all? Does this sound right or could it be faulty? Just asking before I contact the retailer I bought it from.
Thanks for any replies

On the red setting mine is plenty warm enough, I wouldn't want it any hotter so I think yours must be faulty.
Story of my life lol!! Its barely warm and that was on the red setting. I hadnt charged the battery, it was straight from the packaging but according to the instructions, it wasnt showing it needed charging. Maybe I should try charging it for a bit first. Thanks for replying

the pad itself i find doesn't get too warm but if you put your hand underneath it where it lies on the horse, i find that my horses coat definitely feels warm enough

I have one and I wouldn’t want it to get much hotter than it does. Think yours must be faulty.
Thank you, Ive messaged the retailer and theyve said to turn it on a few times and they do get warmer, so I will have to give that a go. Fingers crossed it works

I had my physio out today to check Rose and she loves the epiony pad. I also put a rug over the pad (protech masta) and my horse loves it. It really comes into its own on cold mornings. I am able to put the saddle pad on the aga before I ride but if I couldn't I'd be tempted to put it over the pad so that gets nice and warm too.

I have one and it's fantastic, although it doesn't feel too hot, when it's worn for 1/2 hour it's the design of it makes the heat go through to the muscles.

It's not supposed to be as hot as a hot water bottle etc. It's a high warm I'd say. I use it on myself too and it's just comfortably warm. Our ponies love it.

When on the hottest setting it isn't hot hot, because you're not supposed to leave anything hot on for too long.

Have you tried it on yourself or your horse for 1/2 hour or so?

Hi, Ive messaged who I bought it off today, its definately not a high warm, more a luke warm. They told me to try it a few times as it would get warmer and to fully charge it which I have done. Ive not had it on my horse but I have tried it on me and if I put pressure on it, ie push it against my skin then I can feel the heat but just lay on my like it would be on my horse I very much doubt it would make much difference so Im hoping for a refund tbh.
