EponaShoe

My farrier suggested them for my horse, so at large expense I bought them plus the sole filling. He fitted them and I had to call him back the next day to remove them as poor horse was very very uncomfortable.

The filling was pressing on his sole - although there may have been a metabolic reason for the sole sensitivity, however when fitted with normal metal shoes he was OK, and at the next shoeing the farrier fitted normal pads which provide some frog pressure and he has been fine in those.

I know someone else who tried the Epona shoes but didn't continue with them.
