Epworth ODE

I'm so excited . I am entered in my first ODE on 16th August at Epworth in the 70cm. Is anyone else going?
I just wish my partner could come and watch . I don't think he does though...

Just wondering, are both the dressage and show jumping on a surface?

Any tips?

Thank you - I have had a look and also looked at the Shoestring course pics for the 80. It seems to have changed a bit since the photos on the Epworth website but they all look nice. I hope I don't have a big scary carrot box though.

I’ve never done dressage on a surface there but was atleast two years ago.... the dressage at that time was a long walk away (just leave time) in a huge field with a few grass arenas.

Warm up for SJ on a surface and SJ on a surface.

Nice venue, XC normally fairly short and simple, can be quite ‘busy’ with car park, SJ and XC all very close to one another but also ideal if you’re by yourself. Just do leave time to get to the dressage warm up if it’s still on grass!

Thank you - I'm not really bothered if it is grass or surface, I was just curious. I haven't got stud holes in her shoes anyway. Thanks for the warning about the distance though. Will make sure we have plenty of time.
